Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Store Shield! This guide will help you protect your Shopify store in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Install the App​

  1. Visit the Store Shield app in the Shopify App Store
  2. Click Add app
  3. Review the permissions and click Install

Step 2: Enable Basic Protection​

After installation, you'll land on the dashboard. Let's enable basic protection:

  1. Go to Store Security in the sidebar

  2. Toggle on the protections you want:

    • Disable right-click - Prevents context menu on your site
    • Disable copy/paste - Prevents text copying
    • Image protection - Prevents image downloading

  3. Click Save

That's it! Your store is now protected.

Step 3: Verify It's Working​

  1. Open your store in a new browser tab
  2. Try right-clicking on the page
  3. If protection is active, the context menu won't appear

You can also check the Analytics page to see protection events as they happen.

Monitor Threats​

  • Check Analytics for threat overview
  • Review Threat Intelligence for detailed insights
  • Set up Alerts to get notified of threats

Brand Protection (Enterprise Plan)​

  • Phishing Detection - Find fake sites copying your store
  • Counterfeit Detection - Find knockoffs on Amazon, eBay, etc.
  • Takedowns - Send DMCA notices to remove listings
